What a pattern is
In StratoAtlas research, materials have three epistemic levels:
Observation
"We saw this" — a single finding, not yet generalised
Case
"Here is how it looked" — contextual evidence from a specific situation
Pattern
"This repeats" — a falsifiable claim supported by multiple sources
A pattern is not a conclusion. It is a generalisable claim that can be challenged with a counter-case.
